SEMPATAP SEALANT Seam/joint sealant. For bonding seams and joins when applying SEMPATAP THERMAL and SEMPAFLOOR insulation to walls and ceilings and floors.
PREPARATION: Cut off cartridge nozzle tip, screw on tapered nozzle. Insert cartridge in sealant gun.
APPLICATION: Apply sealant to vertical butt joins, wall/ceiling junctions, against skirtings/architraves, in window reveals/soffits and other horizontal joins. Place nozzle into seam, squeeze gun trigger to obtain flow of sealant and draw cartridge continuously and evenly along seam/join. Remove surplus with spatula or stripping knife. Allow to dry for at least 12-14 hours.
CLEANING: Wet sealant can be removed with a damp sponge or cloth. Clean tools with cold or warm water.
STORAGE: Store in cool dry conditions between –5°C and 25°C. Protect from frost. Use within 3 years.
COVERAGE: Approximately 11 linear metres for a 6mm diameter bead.
HEALTH & SAFETY: Appropriate PPE should be used when applying sealant, eg, protective clothing, gloves and safety glasses.
