The RLT Pack is used for treating medium to severe mould contamination. The system comprises of RLT Bactdet 05 which is used to kill and clean the mould off the surface of the walls and ceilings, RLT Halophen which penetrates into the substrate to kill the roots and form a fungicidal barrier. The area can then be decorated with either MGC Biocheck fungicidal emulsion or Fungicidal Additives incorporated into the new emulsion or wallpaper paste or decorate with Biocheck Fungicidal Emulsion. Each pack contains sufficient materials to treat 45-502m of mould.
Contents
This kit contains the following...
RLT BACTDET is used to kill the mould and remove from the contaminated surfaces. Dilute at 1:4 with warm water and apply using the sponge or a clean cloth or brush extending the treatment one metre beyond the infected area. Wallpapered surfaces must be washed prior to stripping to prevent the mould spores from spreading throughout the property. After the wallpaper has been removed, wash the infected area again.
Carry out all preparation work before proceeding to the next stage.
RLT HALOPHEN is the most important part of the treatment. Dilute 1:4 with warm water and apply one coat by brush to the previously contaminated area, extending the treatment one metre beyond visible signs of infection. RLT HALOPHEN will penetrate into the substrate killing the roots of the mould and setting up a permanent barrier to prevent them from regerminating. Allow to dry before proceeding with decoration.
DECORATION
MGC FUNGICIDAL ADDITIVES are specially formulated to protect the decoration from mould attack. They can be incorporated into emulsion paint, primers, undercoats and gloss paint, plus wallpaper paste, size, textured paints and grout.
